Rules and Regulations for Students

Uniform and Personal Appearance:

  • Wearing the school ID card is mandatory at all times when interacting with school authorities.
  • Any form of scribbling or improper use of the uniform is strictly prohibited and will be punishable.
  • Students are expected to maintain personal hygiene, including trimming nails regularly, and wearing clean shoes and socks. Regular checks for cleanliness will be conducted by class teachers and Physical Education Trainers (P.E.Ts.).

Punctuality:

  • Students must report to school by *8:30 am* sharp. Latecomers will not be permitted to attend classes for that day.

Handling School Property:

  • Students must treat school property with care and respect. Any scribbling on desks, walls, or damage to desks, chairs, doors, etc., must be reported immediately.
  • If a student is responsible for damage, they will face punishment and be required to cover the cost of replacement or repair.
  • Bicycles should be parked in an orderly manner and locked in the designated area for students.

Meeting Parents or Visitors:

  • Students are not allowed to meet their parents or any visitors or leave the school premises during school hours without the explicit permission of the Principal.

Prohibited Items:

  • Students are strictly prohibited from wearing wristwatches, gold jewelry, or bringing mobile phones, iPods, cameras, or other electronic gadgets to school. Confiscated items will not be returned easily.

Conduct and Behavior:

  • Every student is expected to show regular attendance, complete assigned work promptly, and maintain polite behavior towards staff, peers, juniors, and seniors.
  • Students are accountable for their conduct both inside and outside the school. They are expected to exhibit respect, obedience, and responsibility.

Greeting Teachers:

  • Students should greet teachers respectfully whenever they meet them. Foul language towards teachers, visitors, or fellow students is strictly prohibited within the school premises.

Canteen Usage:

  • Students are not allowed to visit the school canteen during class hours.

English Communication:

  • English is the medium of communication inside the school campus. All students are expected to converse in English during school hours.

Responsibility for Belongings:

  • Students are responsible for their personal belongings, including stationery, books, and other materials. The school is not responsible for the loss of valuables.

Books and Stationery:

  • Students must bring the necessary books, notebooks, and stationery as per the school timetable. Any unapproved books or magazines brought to school will be confiscated.

Attendance Requirements

  • Attendance is compulsory on the *reopening day* of every term. Students who attend the prescribed number of working days will be eligible for the *100% attendance award
  • Students should submit a *leave letter signed by parents* whenever they need to take leave. Attendance during important school functions (Annual Day, Sports Day, etc.) is mandatory.

Food Policy

  • Students are required to bring only *vegetarian food* to school.

Grooming for Girl Students

  • Girl students with long hair must keep their hair plaited and folded, using black or white ribbons.

Class Discipline and Cleanliness

  • A Rolling Shield will be awarded to the class that maintains the best standards in discipline, cleanliness, and academic performance.

Transfer Certificates

  • Transfer Certificates will be issued only after clearing all dues, including fees, damage claims, and the return of any borrowed library or reference books.
