Co-curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities being part of the CBSE curriculum, the students here in MPS have various activities, like student Council, Ramanujam Math Club, Ruskin Bond English Club, APJ Abdul Kalam Science Club, Subramaniya Bharathi Tamil Club, Columbus Social Club, Scouts and Guides, Junior Red Cross.

Besides, Project work, Community services like charity, cleaning of neighborhood is encouraged and carried on here at MPS regularly.

To develop a sense of healthy competitive environment and to encourage team building spirit, we have formed 4 houses namely Narmada, Yamuna, Ganga and Kaveri with students and teachers as members of these groups.

We conduct regular classes in Music, Dance, Art and Craft which form a part of the curriculum. Students are given opportunity to showcase their talent through various competitions held at Intra and Inter-School Level.

In addition to this, students are encouraged to participate in Sloka and Thirukkural Recitation, Speech/Debate Competitions.
